Aerial survey

We can fit a Vision 48 element aerial on the roof to get a good signal and, depending on the signal coming into the distribution point divide it over all the others outlet. If there is to much signal then it is as bad as not having enough because the freeview box cannot cope with it.
In this scenario, the signal is split, thus reducing the signal to each outlet. Each time the signal is split, it becomes weaker to each outlet, therefore, if there are a lot to go to it is important to have a high strength signal in the first place. If there is not enough signal, it can be amplified (to a certain extent) with a distribution amplifier.
Please ring me to arrange a time to survey your property.

Why may I need a new aerial?

A new aerial may be required as some aerials are old and damaged, and in some parts of the country FREEVIEW signals use a different frequency or transmitter to the one you normally use for your analogue reception.

What is the cost of an aerial survey and who can carry them out?

Please ask for a quotation. Some retailers offer a survey from around GBP 30 and may refund the charge from the cost of installing a new aerial. Alternatively you can contact your local Confederation of Aerial Industries (CAI) aerial fitter for advice at
www.cai.org.uk

Aerials and CCTV offer a fully compliant Health and Safety Police in all working applications. All our engineers are CAI Working at heights Trained and certificated.
